Reason #2: I’m a Committed Employee

I heard that there are Ironman triathletes living on Hamilton Island, and because I want to run fast enough to talk to them, I said no to sausages, bacon, hash browns, and fried eggs in favour of a bowl of wheaties with skimmed milk this morning. A BOWL OF WHEATIES people!!

Try asking the Brits to give up their Brekkie for a chat with triathletes, albeit you’d be nunchucked with links of sausages till you forget breakfast was even a meal!

Also, I’m running 30-40km a week now to build my stamina for the role. (I wonder how many people would do that for a job…)

Why I think that’s important?
The Island Caretaker should be someone who is willing to commit 110% to the role.
