Doing and Getting

After I get the Jaguar, I’ll get the Ferrari,
I’ll get some houses and make it my home,
A mansion in La Jolla, a beach house in Maui,
I’ll even buy that Harry Winston stone.
I’ll be one of the 100 Most “Something” on TIME magazine,
I’ll be CEO and tenaciously elastic,
I’ll mother a genetically superior spawn of me,
Everyone will think I’m fantastic.
I’ll be and do all of that,
Only to reach the end of the road of doing and getting.
